I really don't know what best describes what I envision this group being. What defines punk anyway? Is it a musical genre that has completely gotten away from itself and its origins? Is it the idealism that was born with the music or the anger and strife that created that idealism? Is it music or lifestyle? Culture or counter-culture? Both? I suppose what I'm really looking to form is a group that includes writing about punk and influenced by punk, and memebers who identify as punk, or don't, and think their lifestyle, writing, etc have been influenced by "punk," no matter how you choose to define it.
