first, lets try to basic ideas down. 
Personally, I would be interested in writing a story that involved magic. 

Medium Ideas: Short 'trailers', combinations of drawings, animations, music, and catchy lines to hook a person into the story.   I've got a couple of story ideas in involving magic (Lord of the Demon King, Tales of the Kingdom) that are in my Story Ideas book two that I haven't put up yet:   (1) Because of modernization users of fire, earth, water and air have become users of steel, wood, glass and electricity. These are craftmakers, who make items for sorcerers, those who give form to any thought and unseen spirit. (2) On his thirteenth birthday Ayumu becomes a full-fledged demon. Until then he must stay safely in a old mansion while a false exorcist 'purifies' empty buildings that actually hold shrines to guardian deities.
