The New Writers' Society Forum New kid to the forum

I am the new kid to the forum.  My first book Abandon Your Hopes, Ye Hopeless Jobseeker is about to be published.  It is a memoir of job hunting from 2011 to 2014.  I have included the first chapter.  I would appreciate getting reviews so that I can improve my writing.
