University Student Writers

Description

Many university students can feel overwhelmed and isolated as writers, especially those in their first year of university. For those who live in on-campus residences, it can seem like all the people there care about is partying, rather than pursuing a higher education to better their futures. For those living off-campus; either with family or with a roommate or two, one may feel very detached from those at one's university who hold similar interests. Of course, the sheer amount of studying and assignments that must be taken care of can also distract university students from writing what they love.

This is a place where writers (whether published, aspiring, or simply out of their own enjoyment as a hobby) can come together and share their work with one another. Feel free to let others know what university you attend, what your focused area of study is and anything else you would like to share. If you do not feel comfortable telling others this information, it's not necessary to do so.
