hi, new member, some orientation please

Hello, Marvin. Apologies for the not-so-speedy reply on my behalf. I'd just like to welcome you to the Young Poets group, first of all, and tell you that we are pleased to have you join us. :)  We hope you find this group's atmosphere to be helpful and positive, but that you also receive the constructive criticism that you are looking for. I can't seem to find any of your pieces in our gallery, so I am assuming that you have not yet submitted anything. My suggestion would be to submit any or all of your writing to the group to be reviewed by other poets. I also advise that you get to know most of the people in the group, perhaps send friend requests to those you feel comfortable speaking to, and learn more about what they are looking for in a poem and if they are the right kind of people to send Read Requests to.
