scatterbrains, unite! Forum extended Lesson 1

this is the second portion of the class, where we talk about what was written. anyone have any other examples/concepts of suspending belief? could  Lord of the Rings be an example, or is it different when you know what the story is about going in?

I've posted an excerpt from my novel which fits the bill for the silly animal story. It's an encounter with a talking lab rabbit. Was that lesson 1 or lesson 2? I sleep through class a lot.

I was sort of hoping I would get some feedback for the assignments.  Is that going to happen, or am I just writing these things and posting them into the ether?
