I am 18 years old. I tend to write mostly poetry,however I have wrote a few stories. I have completed my first novel and I have three chapters here which you can read and comment on. My writing usually comes from the heart, so its rarely short. Some of my pieces tend to have a hidden message,emotions,point or often the phrases are meant to make the reader think.That being said some don't have a deeper meaning. My advice to you is take a guess, if it seems deep it possibly could be.However sometimes I write just to write,kinda just to get something off my chest and often the story/poem could have a deeper meaning that I am unaware of.
I'm not much into descriptive pieces. No offense to anyone but its not my thing. When I read something with all kinds of metaphors or imagery, I have trouble picturing them. I am trying to be more descriptive with my writing but it is slow coming, given that my vocabulary isn't massive. If you have a suggestion on a way I could improve my pieces please feel free. That's all I can think of right now,you'll probably get more out of my writing than from here. If you would like to send me a read request I will try to read it eventually, I don't visit here much. However if you do send one I will not read anything that has any gore in it. Sorry but that's not something I Iike to read.
