Jade Kornegay

Jade Kornegay is a writer/ author who has expressed herself through poetic form and other various literary means for most of her life. Her passion for words, gift of expression, as well as her blend of modern reality and ancient dreams sets her work aside from the norms and confines of contemporary literature creating her own unique style which puts her into a totally new and different classification all on its own. Where other writers hold back, she pushes forward; where others limit their levels of comfort she bares all. Rather than emotional state, Jade focuses on dilemma and detail shedding new poetic light on old-fashioned norms and otherwise contemporary literature thereby making it her own. Jade�s way with words has landed her guest speaker roles in several writing conferences, graduation ceremonies, and as a motivational speaker at a few universities and colleges. In addition to her literary talent, Jade has a Bachelors degree in Political Science with an Emphasis in Public Law and a Minor in History; which is soon to be accompanied by her Masters in the Science of Higher Education. Jade currently has a few books of poetry in bookstores around the world including �Uncharted Dreams� and is currently working on her first novel in the "Family Secrets" series alongside a new up and coming author, Andy Joy.
