About Me

? Like, what would an article about my writing say? Probably something like... "The works of L. Jane English are shockingly honest and human. English is constantly pushing the envelope, writing what people only think in their minds and never dare say. If you appreciate what it is to be a person, to be real, and enjoy a bumpy read, youre going to love this piece by L. Jane English."

♥ I encourage any feedback at all, please feel free to comment on my writing.

Do you miss me? I miss you. I also like to eat potatoes. Do you? I also like New York in June, how about you? I also like a Gershwin tune, how about you?

I've been away too (sort of). I'll check out some of your new stuff. Anything in particular?
Quote of the day:

'We are all atheists - none of us believe in Zeus, or Ra or any number of gods...some of us just take it one god further'

Glad i could help. Larkin is my favourite poet - i'm at work right now, which is on the same street as he went to school. Not many americans seem to have heard of him, so it's cool that you have and like something of his.

That poem is called High Windows by Phillip Larkin ("he's f*****g her, she's on the pill etc.) - i agree; Alessander's piece reminded me of Larkin too - glad it's not just me being fanciful.

I wrote a new story called "Life has a funny way of..." it's a thought I had a while ago but can't seem to tie all of them together. If you feel like it, read it and let me know what you think. Any insight or ideas would be awesome. Thanks.
