Hey---- I just did my first spoken word poem. Maybe you'll get a kick out of it; check it out if you have time.
It's a little cryptic, but I was in a dark mood.

Hope things are well.

Congratulations on being featured in, UWN. I liked your choice of words in the poem,"Challenge#19." I thought the words made for a great blend of romance and humor. I really enjoyed it.
CONGRATS!!

God Bless,
Babbette

Thanks for reading my UWN challenge piece. I saw some pretty amazing work on the 55 word stories website, and it got me thinking, hey, that's a nice little experiment to play with. Cheers! Rob

Have you ever woken up from a long headache and realized that everything you ever said and thought was backwards?

Thanks for the review------what you said is exactly why I am so excited about that piece. The way the words are arranged, and the juxtaposition, brings such a novel element into the reading of the poem------when my friend sent it back to me arranged like this, the artist Bobbeauxx ( I was amazed. The poem had always seemed too didactic for me, -----but with the two halves of the poem blending together like this, it captures the muddled force, the confusion and juxtaposition of perception and imagination I was trying to express, and completes the poem.

I'm really excited about the possibilities of visual and word art being blended together. Luckily I've found a visual artist who naturally taps into the same unconscious pieces as I do.

I encourage you to check out his art. It's mind-blowing.

Thanks again for everything you said-----it's a real encouragement.
