I'm simple and complicated at the same time. I'm 38, a mom, a wife, a teacher, a daughter, and a sister. Those are the most defining details about me. I'm Texan and was raised on a cattle ranch, but I dreamed of being a famous fashion designer rather than be involved in farming or ranching. I also loved to write, and I still do. From journalism to poetry to children's fiction, I've written a little of everything at one point or another. Whether I am any good at it or not has yet to be determined. I guess it doesn't matter all that much as long as you get that "release" that comes with putting the thoughts in your head into words on paper.
