I have a wonderful family that I am so very proud of...my husband is not only the love of my life, but is also my best friend. We have four children, ages 7, 11, 13, and 16. They keep us very busy! But I wouldn't change a thing :)

I have been struggling with my disease, syringomyelia. It's rare, non-curable, and has left me with chronic pain. I have a syrinx, fluid-filled cavity, inside of my spine. My first surgery was 8-8-11...my fourth surgery will be 7-29-13. The 1st and 4th surgeries are spinal. My central nervous system is damaged; I have numbness and pain all over. Writing saves me.

I love to read and have been excited to find how much I enjoy reading outside of my usual genre. It seems for years I was "stranded" reading the same thing over and over...so I found that my writing had done the same, and became stale. So I'm trying to freshen it up! So here, after a very long sabbatical from writing...I'm thrilled to dig into my thoughts, feelings, emotions...find inspiration with a pen in hand...
