I am a college student who has had trouble getting inspired for about the past year. I'm mainly looking for a writing buddy, and have some pieces posted so anyone who might be interested can take a look at my credentials and such. My biggest influences are Neil Gaiman and Anne Rice (though I rather dislike her books, for some reason I imitate them...). My writing library is filled to the brim with romance, though almost nothing like the traditional ideas of the genre, and I have a hard time writing anything without including someone vampiric or, more recently, undead. Lately I have been getting into a more sci-fi genre, with an emphasis on something not wholly post-apocalyptic, but very much like it.

Unfortunately, I have been slacking on things lately, and because I have a need to write as a channel and have such a lack of inspiration have only been cranking out fanfictions. This makes me feel utterly cheap and drab, as well as somewhat of a sellout, since I post these online frequently and have a miniscule fanbase from them. There will be nothing of the sort on here, however, only real writing. So rest assured, my Vincents and my Yoshikis lie elsewhere!

Please, if you have any interest in becoming a writing buddy with someone of the above description, let me know. I'm becoming desperate, and despondent, and a lot of other "D" words I don't feel like thinking up at the moment. I hope you enjoy your stay, however long it may be. As ever, thank you for reading.
