About Me
Mick, a native of the Ohio Valley, currently writes and lives in Tempe, Arizona as an economic refuge, where he teaching First Year Composition at Arizona State University. His first collection of poems, FRAGMENTS OF UNIDENTIFIABLE FORM, is for sale at amazon.com, bn.com, and through PublishAmerica. His second collection, LINES FROM ANOTHER BOOK OF COMMON PRAYER, was released by PublishAmerica in February 2008. His work has also appeared online at semantikon.com, in the DISPATCH LITAREVIEW (http://litdispatch.net), in THE LICKING RIVER REVIEW, and in INSCAPE. He also writes occasional articles for We! Progressive E-zine (http://www.mytown.ca), and contributes to his blog sporadically at http://ohioexpatriate.wordpress.com.
Some of his favorite writers are: Jorge Luis Borge, Milan Kundera, Lawrence Block, Frank Miller, Max Allen Collins, Umberto Eco, And Murakami.
Mick is also an unrepentant Bengals fan, and despite himself, can never seem to escape his taste for good beer, Maker's Mark, and Cincinnati chili.
