'Where are you?'

Struck so suddenly,
So sudden, and with no time to think,
And now on a journey
Where are you?

Frozen inside, like never before,
Yet head burning as others look on.
I continue to slide
Where are you?

Is this a race and will it end?
Or have you desensitised me
And now I am here...
Where are you?

An easy landing I did not expect
And there you are!
Only I can lose you again
And I hope I do.
