About Me

I'm from Williamsport, Pa. I spent a lot of time on my grandfather's farm as a child. I've done a variety of things in my life. I've been a commercial electrician and a few other things. I lived in Charlotte, NC for a while. Came back north a while back. I've raced off-road 4x4's. I've raced and built stock cars and open-wheel sprint cars. I've been on a pit-crew in the ARCA series. I've had a lot of hobbies throughout the years. Radio-Controlled Planes, 4x4's and Helicopters. I've worked in a few different career fields. I worked in the IT field for about twenty years. I was Certified by Microsoft as an M.C.S.E. I was a part-time teacher at a trade school covering a variety of trades. I've always done a lot of reading, learning, and studying. I used to write a lot of technical documentation for pc techs to follow. I was also a software deployment engineer that deployed client software to thousands of computers simultaneously while working in the HealthCare field. I worked at a hospital that was the first in the WORLD to go live with Siemens Soarian Clinicals & Financials Simultaneously. The highlight of my IT Career was being invited to Las Vegas for a presentation about Siemens Software deployment. I'm one of the few with a vast amount of experience and knowledge of their client systems. I wasn't able to do the presentation due to some unexpected health problems, but it was a personal milestone just to be invited. Some consider me "MacGyver" in real life. I decided to start doing some writing. I'm currently working on my first novel about a nasty computer virus. I'm also working on two other novels (although those two are being done at a much slower pace). Hoping to publish my first novel in 2013, hopefully prior to Labor Day. I'm also going to start writing instructional books for advanced computer training. Many will find my way of teaching and educating to be very enjoyable. My way of teaching will make them want to learn more, study harder, and pursue various IT (and possibly other) types of certifications.
