About Me

9th December, 2016.

I write merely to exercise my right to write and I like burying secrets in my posts; that's why my words are wild, vague and absurd.

~ i make sanity speak

" somewhat poetic prose "

monsieur scalpel,

i didn't know how to explain
why i am usually happy
not just at peace
but something has triggered
this epiphany

i don't derive anything
from an occurrence or an incident
i feel sad when a tragedy strikes
but almost instantly
i can see
what must happen
and the song of sanity inside
reveals solutions

and i am reminded
of one thing and one thing alone
it's called information
and it helps me recognize crime
and saves me from turning
into a criminal

if there's a gift worth having
if there's a talent worth living for
if there's a blessing in the universe of a non-existent God
it is the ability to comprehend ethics
and the craving
to reflect and self-correct

i am such a tiny creature
that in no time at all
i focus on the little that i can do
in any moment of time

and my tiny bits of bliss
reside in my need to work on what i can
no matter what happens

perhaps
studying history
and observing contemporary events
has made me less connected to episodes
and more aware
of the idea
that if i am alive
there are things i can do
to defy deranged behaviour
which damages one or many
here or anywhere else in the world

the smaller i grow
the more peaceful i can be
and the more i can do
to appreciate the opportunity
to do the little that i can

when someone judges me
i switch off
but i don't let go
i reach out to the many who have been judged
who i have never met
and will never know
and try to write verse

then i place my attempt
in a public place
and i know
i make sanity speak
in the universe of verse

i haven't written a real poem yet
but it's about the journey, isn't it?

hubby is gone till sat... I shall come back and read the nightingale story again. I can see how it makes you wonder about everything... I love pieces that make your mind wander to different thoughts, and how it applies to one's life.
