Once upon a time, a strange girl fell in love with an old, dog-eared book of words she stole from the school library. She rendezvoused with others over the years, but none would ever measure up in quite the same way as her beloved thesaurus with the worn yellow cover. One day, someone asked her about her first love, and with little thought she answered easily, "Words. Words were my first love and remain my greatest love." It was a lonely truth but also one of fulfillment and happiness, for words were the conduits through which she touched the threads her dreams were woven from.
