Wings of Daedalus

The Singularity known as M.A. Hughes/Wings of Daedalus:
Im a 26 year old mother of two goblins (soon to be three!) here in good ol Wisconsin. I am a woman of science, and as such, I hope to go back and get my PhD so I can teach Molecular and Cellular Biology at the university level. Writing full-time is not the life-style for me, tempting as it can be at times.

By day I work as a food quality technologist. I ensure that your food is not contaminated with pathogenic microbes or unsavory (and otherwise harmful) debris. I know more about what goes into your food than you probably ever want to know!

By night, I am a serious writer and gamer. Unfortunately, I love these two hobbies so much that I am often conflicted as to which I want to dedicate my time.

I'm new to Writer's Cafe. I'm trying to worm my way into the community here! I'm sure you see me around at some point, browsing the recent stories and/or entering a contest or two.
