I'm a college student just trying to find my place in a world that isn't as excepting as I hoped.

I am 20 years old and a Writing major at the University of Tampa. I used to write a lot of fiction. Recently I took a semester in poetry and fell in love with it. Call me a traitor but I'll be writing mostly poetry from now on.

I have been writing since I was in grade school and often got in trouble for stapling computer paper together to create notebooks for my stories. I was recently published in UT's Literary and Art magazine Quilt and I plan on running for Assistant Editor next year.

My goals for the future are to pursue an MFA program in Writing and to have a collection of poems ready for publication.
