I'm a public relations professional working for a nonprofit organization in Alabama. My writing interests mostly lie in novels, but I dabble in short stories, poetry, and scripts too. I'm sending my first book out to publishers right now. Also in the works: two other novels and a mystery series. My most important project is a fantasy series that will span five books, written for young adults (and hopefully adults too!) I'm currently building the world and outlining for the series and am really enjoying the process.

I was a journalist for a little while, but decided it wasn't for me. Hobbies include: acting, singing, community theater, reading, working out, going to movies, knitting, watching TV, yoga, surfing the Internet, video games, computer games, listening to music, film festivals, photography, spending time with friends, meeting new people, travel and church activities.
