I'm a full-time mom and part-time community college English teacher who writes on the side. My love of Irish literature and history, and a great family story, lead my to write my first novel, Divided, based loosely on the life of my mother's great grandmother, who came to the mill towns of Massachusetts from County Louth in the 1800s. I'm starting my second novel, a more contemporary story of life as an alcholic's wife in working class Worcester, Massachusetts.
