About Me

Artist • Author • Poet • Preacher

I am a thinker, ponderer, assayer of thoughts. I have had a penchant for writing since childhood. I prefer "Doc" as an hommage to my grandfather Robert 'Doc' Snow; that and I am a constant learner.

Read my work and enjoy. Your honest feedback is appreciated. A big thank you goes out to all of those who have read my works and were kind enough to leave a note! Thank you!

Of my reviews and critiques, WC is supposed to be a workshop of sorts so if I throw in my 2 bits of review, please do not take it personally. My own writing is a work in progress and by sharing with you in review or critique I am growing too.

Thank you for sending me your read requests. It will take a while for me to get to them. My schedule is very loaded.

Cheers!
Doc.

You writer types and wannabe novelists, here is a fun challenge. Write a novel in November. This is a sponsored idea to get more writers writing and meet/beat a challenge. See the link for more info.

I just published my first book. It's on Grace.

I'm glad I finally got the first one out the door. I am now a published author. I have the next two blocked out already; just need to fill in the gaps. I am also lining up a book on my poetry. I will keep you all posted.

Cheers!

"I hope you didn't mind too much of my presumption with your writing." (Doc Rogers, Instrument Of The Soul, Review). I am not at all offended by your review. I will definitively research spoken word more. I taught myself how to write poetry and literature, so my methods of writing are quite odd when compared to others. Thank you for your review - I will make the changes noted in the other poem. I really do appreciate it and will try to learn from my "mishaps." Thanks again.

Hey Doc! Thank you very much!
I'll send you a note on what I've got. Not a problem.
I'm so excited!! :D

My mom has been pushing me to write the rest of a book I had started a while back... so I figured I will- in my own way : )
She's gonna love it!!!

Thanks again for the encouragement, Doc!
