I am a 38 year old, worked many types of jobs in the service industry from waitressing to cleaning to handling calls...from dental administration to electrical and plumbing.. drywalling and painting... master of none! I write on all levels.. am shy in some ways and outgoing in others.. a tomboy growing up. I am friendly but sometimes reserved in everyday life .. I do not mind criticism at all but may post one or two personal writings that I just don't want to change. I am a dreamer of peace and love.. extreme.. it's my life. I believe this world needs a good change.. I don't have all the answers to that but know it has to start in every household and heart... which I am still struggling with even myself.. I love my children the most in this world unconditionally.. Many will notice I have removed alot of my erotica.. I am considering reposting.. I have 2 teens and my adult work is listed as restricted for 18 years of age and older.. still pondering and I know there may be others with views or similar questions out there! If I ever write something offensive please do not be afraid to notify me.. I'll do my best to rectify it..
CHILDREN UNDER 18... do not display your location or give too much personal info about yourself in your writings.. I have seen many in the past put out info... remember that this is a public site and MANY types of people come out here..not all are good.. I am sure most are good I believe but because this is the INTERNET there just is no way to know.. Write safely.. be creative.. don't become exploited or fall into a trap whereby someone promises you a career or some other silverlining that could become a trap.. let your parents become aware of such propositions and explore with you your developing talent.. do NOT meet up with strangers from websites!!!! (In reality.. there are people over 18 that go missing in this world if you check the missing person's sites) If I post something restricted to adults.. it IS only for people age 18 and over to view.. please do not take offense to that. I can tell you that I would not just run out and meet anyone of a website like this or any other being even at my age of 38... without the highest precautions being made.. I would make sure it was valid and bring someone with me.
A note: I do prefer to write happier poetry but stay true to my emotions for the most part.. some is creative as well. My writing does not always reflect who I "truly" am.. do not mistake that.. it sometimes is just a passing thought.. it could seem "crazy" or "really sad" or "off the wall happy".. those are passing feelings and I grab a pencil or pen fast and jot them down. I suffer from mild OCD and ADHD (most have some of this)..anxiety comes occassionally in waves mostly in the winter.. can be hyper.. and sensitive and my sincerity is being re-evaluated. On the flip side of emotions.. every once in awhile I find myself incredibly down.. and finding I react differently than others under pressure.. my facial expressions make it really hard for others to know what I am really feeling.. I am misunderstood alot!
Inspired by past artist like William Blake, Edgar Allan Poe, Walt Whitman, Stephen King and Dean Koontz to name just a few.. as a child I loved Judy Bloom (freckle juice was one of my favorite funny children books .. lol.. I even tried to make the conconction to see if it worked even though as a child I had freckles.. I tasted more aweful than I could ever tell you!!). I love visual arts as well from the victorian era (very dark period that inspired huge art pieces bring light to that time). Vincent Price, Humphrey Bogart.. and of course the twilight zone were late night specials I sometimes snuck up to watch behind my mother's back growing up.. as well as Bonanaza! I found the old horrors sometimes more terrifying than some of today's works but that may be because of the sensitivity of the times.. and there just wasn't the special effects that they have today.. that sometimes I think go to far. Stephen King is the King of Horror.. without going to far graphically.. his writing and dark artisty is raw and far out there.. I have at least 15 of his hard cover books... including one that was not as big called Nightmares and Dreamscapes.. filled with short stories like Chattery Teeth.. that while short .. really chilled me.
I am into lyrics! I listen according to mood.. but mostly upbeat music fills my days..
