It seems that I have always had one story or another running through my head. I have been working my book for quite awhile. Really hate the long periods of writer's block. My characters however refuse to be forgotten until I finish their story.
I recently started a short story a way to work out issues with a sub plot. The vague idea I had work well for my first draft, but I found it difficult to write around. It quickly evolved into two stories and staved off another block.
Not happy with the song lyrics written in my rough draft I tried my hand at poetry for the first time.
Both my poems were inspired by the characters and events in my book.
