I've worn a beret, a badge, and a suit and tie. For the past twenty years I've worn jeans. I much prefer jeans.

But, since I was eight, I've been a writer.

I've written so many poems and short stories that I couldn't even guess how many.

During my seven years in Combat Control I helped friends write to their wives and girlfriends. It was always enjoyable to see 'that' look in those pretty eyes when we came home, knowing that I'd had a role in putting that gleam there.

In the past twenty years of working as a rural carrier I've had time to write eight chapbooks and three YA books, two of which have been published.

One of my published works, through Denlingers, has had it's contract lapse and I didn't renew because I want to try self (e-publishing), which I believe is the future of writing.

OK, enough about me for now. I want to explore this new site! :)
