I've been writing for almost eleven years now. I started out writing basic, corny fanfiction until a friend helped me expand into other works. Thanks to her, I've developed into a (hopefully) competant writer.
I write both fanfiction and original works. I've ventured into a lot of different genres, trying to find where I can best put my mind to work. I find I like comedy and fantasy the best, since I have an overactive imagination. =D I also try different kinds of characters as well, going for diversity. I gain more experience by roleplaying with friends, which is a valid form of writing if done correctly, I believe.
I'm 19 years old, by the way, and I work as a pharmacy tech in town. I have a boyfriend whom I've dated for nine months now. I have a younger bro and parents. I also have a love of animals: a boxer/black lab mix called Banshee, an African Gray called Major, and three cats - Micky, Koko, and Smokey. I'm a Northerner in a southern state from the time I was 9, and my northern accent still recieves odd looks. I doubt I'll lose it; I have a habit of picking it up at the worst times, and I'm unable to say things like "water".
