I have 2 lives. The life I live in whatever fiction I'm writing, and the life I live in the real world. The real world holds all males in my home, 2 teenage boys...let me just say, omg dramadramadrama...a husband of 19 years, and 3 cats. The toilet seat is always up (well, the cats are pretty good about it), everyone is always hungry, and I had no idea that boys in the same house (fur or not) don't like each other.
I was born and raised in the mid-west until 6th grade. Been a California girl ever since. (Nothing like those beach sunsets!) I teach part-time at an elementary school.
Life within the fiction I write is a world in which I can breathe. There's nothing to dread and everything obeys. Plots don't always work out but driving them wherever I want is what I live for. I often tell my boys not to push me too far into the margin or I may write them as a character and put them in an awful pickle. hehehe So, watch out.
