My name is Kena. Interpretation: Hawaiian Princess in Hawaiian. I am a Goddess, unique, of mixed heritage: Japanese, Dutch, Danish, Irish, etc...goes on, which I am proud of.
I have been writing since I was seven years old, and I've written tons of books on my typewriter, ideas fllowing from me like a neverending ocean. I started writing poetry at sixteen, and as I gained more relationships and other experiences, it came naturally to me. I love being able to express myself in any way possible, and this is a healthy form. ha ha.
I also write songs and music. I record my own material in my basic equipment I have. I have done backup vocals for rappers, and have my own myspace music site. Another thing I do is i also dance, and i choregoraph my own dances (in privacy of my room of course) lol.
I plan to finish up my BA Degree in Elementary Education at BYU this fall, and I'm happy to finally get my degree. I have made many mistakes in the past seven years, but I am on the right track now, and that's what matters. Like Joel Osteen says, "It's not about the depths of your past, but the heights of your future....do you want to be a prisoner of your past, or a pioneer of your future?" Amazing words...
