Dont let us end as strangers.

I wrote this for a someone who is kinda confused about us i guess you could say...

I've been running in circles for so long trying to find a way
A single stream of light in this darkness of confusion
Would be enough to make it through
This foggy feeling in my head..

Lost a battle or two in love
But the one thing remaining is you
Beautiful in its fullest
Yet mysterious like the wind..

I'm afraid to lose again
I don't want you to disappear like the others did
You are special in all the things you do
But right now you're hurting me..

You made me whole when my heart was in pieces
And you also made my life worth living
Can't lose you now when we are so close to something
But you keep your head down pretending you don’t see..

You cannot feel the barrier you're building up between us
But deep down you know exactly what you’re doing
And that is what’s tearing me apart
We started out as friends
Don't let it end like strangers..

I like how you got the emotional impact of the poem across, BUT your lines for stanzas 3-5 all end in weak words. You want your endings to be strong. Confusion was a good, strong ending.

This is sad. I hate it when that happens. The confessions, the heartbreaks and then slowly slipping away trying to make it as awkward as possible. Yes, those who admit may be in question for they will never know if the other person feels the same way or not but the one who hears it is the one being immature to give up like that. This poem was strong with every word behind it. Its unbelievably written.

This is so full of despair, sadness and worry and life is too short to have all that going on in our lives. I hope it's resolved sooner rather than later for the person concerned, as it eats away at our very soul depriving us thriving in life. Talk, talk and talk is what I say, to reach a happy solution....simple.
