It Doesn't Fit

It Doesn't Fit

A Poem by ~ Czarina Iris ~
"

A small piece, insignificant really, lying upon the table serving no purpose other than taking up space.

"

A small piece,

Insignificant really,

Lying upon the table

Serving no purpose

Other than

Taking up space.

A tiny thing,

Not much at all really,

Just an occupier

Of space

In this world.

Shove it there

And push down hard.

It's got to fit somewhere

Why else would it

Be here?

Turn it around,

Flip it upside down.

It's no use

It doesn't fit.

Toss it aside

We'll come back to

It later.

It'll go somewhere

It will.

Later comes around

And

The puzzle is finished

And the piece didn't fit

Anywhere...
