Queen of Undiscovery

Queen of Undiscovery

A Poem by .Mary-Kate
"

Children's poem. Pretty, ain't it?

"

The Queen of Undiscovery
Planted pennies in the grass.

The crusts of zinc and copper
Caked the seeds with tinted glass.

The Queen of Undiscovery
Watered wealth across the garden.

Glowing rocks solidified while
Faultless gems started to harden.

The Queen of Undiscovery
Began to gather up her prizes.

Rainbows, cats-eyes in her hands
Growing marbles of all sizes!

I like how light and fresh this is. It isn't bogged down by banal similis or meanings so deep they're burried. Keep up the good work! It's refreshing to read and a pleasure. I look forward to reading more.

Very nice poem, but I failed to understand the significance of the Queen of Undiscovery.
