For HerA Poem by 123YoureDeadLove may be a defined term to the human language, but for a dog and their master, love is not a definition, but only a feeling
Oh how I wish I could speak the words she craved
To sing and make my love known for her To tell her of my feelings, to tell her of my faith The faith we have built around us each day And each day without her, is a day of only despair When she sleeps, all I think of is her How I am meant to protect her without fault How I cannot let her vitals slip for even a moment How I can never let her shed a tear in sadness For if I do, I have failed my purpose She is my purpose, she is my everything She is the sunrise to the darkest of my days She deserves only the best, even if I'm not there to approve She'll always be my guardian, and I hers For without her warmth against me, I feel only frost I grow older beside her, and she always remains young The flower of beauty I always see blossom before me I smile, yet only of her essence I hum to myself, but only when she walks For her heart is the only rhythm I ache for Without her, my life means nothing Without me, her life feels empty I wish my soul could live forever, so she could always have me But my love shall ever be eternal Even if all I am is a dog in her eyes All that I am, is for her
