hipsters of this town

hipsters of this town

A Poem by 1975 MCMlXXV

Lonely souls and acting of cool hearts
Beautiful clothes
Adoring of own destiny
Chatting with few words and lot of make up
Drinking coffee
Spreading news

Did you hear about my last blues
I went into gallery
Where no one was well
I went into club pub
Where no one was sick
All became just one big cheap trick

They playing music on night street
Where homeless are with nothing to eat
Drunken vine on women cheeks
There will be pleasure
If there will be real guy
Maybe we are after all just one lie

In morning park still wake and ready to chat
Fresh cleaners
Empty bins
They are not sure what they are sins
Melody in mouth of chewing gum
One last bottle of red rum

Now hurry up now into homes
Telling last news on the phones
Writing journals and print them out
Real poetry must be shout
Folk records from Island
And after all just --------------------silent

Wake up in front of computer
Make money and new chance
Invite girl for the swing dance
Be that super cool guy
Brush his teeth before a kiss
Ending in your fantasy
