Poem to Mom

Poem to Mom

A Poem by Faust

I can see it in her eyes.
Both the truths and the lies.
She tells me she's ok.
But she's sick everyday.
She says it's just some joint pain.
But the thought of her suffering is driving me insane.
Only 6 months ago, you would lauph and have fun with my sister and I.
And now I fear for the day you might die.
I'm scared of losing you to life.
I would lose a mom, and dad would lose a wife.
I'd miss you, mom, with all of my heart.
You leaving me would tear my world apart.

Your words are real. This is why we must make time for the people we love. One day, we cannot. Powerful and worthwhile words shared.
