Recklessly forgiving

Recklessly forgiving

A Poem by Rayree Parker

Recklessly forgiving never even had another choice
myself set aside no worries, its you i am concerned about
slipped again unfaithful untrue cant you see your just hurting you
sure it kind of hurts its just a little pain, Baby PLEASE stop taking all the blame
let me take this pain Ill take it all from you even the shame
you dont deserve or need it please let me take it I want it
my old friend pain we go back a ways always helps me grow
shows me truths we are old buddies from way back in my youth
Baby finish your hot shower dry those jade green eyes come lay down in bed
I will file away this mess.. your pain silently internalized

There are some people in life who realise it is not about themselves and they give unconditional love and support to those they love and care about, that is hard...really hard...I relate...but you are obviously one of these souls, same as I...doesn't mean we don't feel pain and need an outlet but words help ey? ;) x
