The Plank That Junior Bleeds

The Plank That Junior Bleeds

A Poem by Robert Filos

Me matyes and eye
we suspect us a spy
the ships cannons be shifted
and the riggin's all twisted

aye if I knew not the better
I might shew ye the letter
from the one and cursed mocker
pulled from Davey Jones locker

don't cry little fishies the legend be true
barnacles, mussels, it's octopus to you

The Queen Anne's Revenge
and Black Beard may be rumor
But there be only one Davy Jones
unless of course it's his Junior

so call all the scalawags, peasants and Pirates
we be comin' together for a seven seas alliance
that bilge raised sea serpent
of the devils own seed
won't be walkin' no plank
we be makin' him bleed
