Tho' Dreams Beguile When We're Young

A Poem by Firestone Feinberg

Tho’ dreams beguile when we’re young --
They also pressure bring
To life; a race that’s rarely won --
And this -- a painful thing.

How few achievements are to be --
How many are the tears
All shed for naught; when none can see
That freedom come with years.
