Whilst staring at a clock, my life is ending

Whilst staring at a clock, my life is ending

A Poem by AloysiaVerben
"

Whilst staring at a clock, I reflect upon my thoughts... yup, I'm that weird... (Bad name I know...)

"

I watch the hands of this clock of mine,

The days, the months,  years, locked in time.

A minute passes, then two, then three.

This vast thing of time, oblivious to me.

I sit and I stare for hours on end,

But still time keeps coming the longer I spend.

But the longer I stay,

The more that I find,

I am only getting closer to my own demise...

Hello, everyone :)
Well, a poem that came to me suddenly, and yes, I actually WAS staring at a clock. I'm a weird kid, I know. I came up with one line, then forgot it... I still don't know what it was but it inspired the rest of this poem. Enjoy the outcome of my strange mind...

Yes in the end. Time is our most valuable item in a life. Better to appreciate family and friends. One day you could be alone and wishing to have been kinder. Spend more time with the good people. A very good poem with some wisdom to be learn from.

There was something dark and foreboding to the title that drew me to it and the poem lived up to the title.
