Flashing Bandits

Wrote this while I was at the Better Bean Coffee Company, a nice little place in Bridgewater, Massachusetts.

Ice coffee spilling across a restaurant table

Bratty spoiled kid yelling

Annoyed waitress cleaning

While the barrel boys draw attention to themselves

 

Fifteen minutes

Waiting for my Vermont sandwich

Twenty minutes

No sandwich

Hungrily calculating her tip in negatives

 

Soduku sasses my mind

Ice cubes melt

Hitler on TV.

Jesus on a t-shirt

An elderly man looks a kin to Ghandi

 

Its over a man whispers to his woman

Heart broken

Sandwich arrives

Commercial

All is not well

 

Many worlds from one seat

Many universes in a room
