Betrayed

Betrayed

A Chapter by Abdul Batin Osman Bey
"

about my uncle and his weird obsession with self destruction

"

You came to me with an olive branch

Wrapped in purity and hope

Little did I know they were only smoke

A bitter shadow pill you forced down my throat

Betrayed- I feel betrayed

By your vacant eyes

Betrayed_ I feel betrayed

I don’t need your emerald dream

You tried to make me feel passion for lost air

Chasing after a mythology that was never there

Too awake to be pulled under

I aborted your agenda for harmonious reality

Betrayed- I feel betrayed

By your vacant eyes

Betrayed- I feel betrayed

I don’t need your emerald dream

I love how i can interpret your poem in many different ways, at first i thought it was rape and it fit perfectly!
