If I, then would you?

If I, then would you?

A Poem by Ace Jaxon

If words lost meaning then pain would leave, but also new life.

If I could say the truth of my feelings would you listen?

If everyone found out, would you stand beside me?

If Christmas snowed away, would you drift with it?

If I could hold you, would you hold me too?

If I told you, would you say it too?

If dreams came, would you fade?

If I ran, would you chase?

If I said the three, would you say them back?

If I whispered from across the way, would you hear?

If I left, would you leave too?

If I say it now, would you know it was you?

If I said “I love you,” would you see the truth?

If you say it too, I’ll say it again.

If you say the truth, I’d always listen.

If everyone knew, I jump in front of you.

If Christmas drifted, I’d stay.

If you ran, I’d chase.

Wow. It has depth in it. It expresses that how you are expecting because you would do what you expect. I really liked it.
