Soldato

Soldato

A Poem by Ace Jaxon

Walking down the road with no others to be seen

All alone in this suttle world of dreams

Dreams of the heart and of the mind

Drifting for awhile on this crazy boat ride

All alone with my ocean dreams

Dreams coming from my drowning sea

A stormy breeze a summer light

No sleep for me tonight

I’ll look for you through the moon

A Silver glance of a stay night

A mystical wind blocking the light

I try to run

I try to hide

But feelings arrive

I gave my all only to fall

I stare at the world with fearful eyes

I’m anything but a soldato in this world tonight

I’ll fight for you and die for you

I’ll never back down from a fight
