Corrupted Life

Corrupted Life

A Poem by Ace Jaxon

The tree it bears apples of gold

Its deadly nature, hurting life

There the two snakes wonder

Oh, how they corrupt the tree

Forcing its hold to be of poison

Rotting, killing the golden apples

The tree becoming weaker

It hurts, shifting to a form of weeping

Now it stands as a willow

Crying, and losing its fruits
