Judgement

A poem about how we as humans cause judgement on ourselves and others.

The worse enemy is the person within

I’m the critic to my own demise

The one who looks down at my grave

The one who takes my own breath away

Viewing myself as another failure

It pains me to think that the one in control

Was always me…

My own thoughts make me cry

My light on the inside

Dimmer and dimmer as time goes bye

Help me understand tonight…

Beauty lost in harm

Written on my arms

Scars of hate

Within words of love

Stop me now!

I have no choice…

Choosing hate was my last voice...

I do that lot !! Today only I was thinking about it..it also affects on the on daily activities of life...eventually I have started to think that I have penchant towards self loathing.. But I am trying stay positive. Taking things not seriously things happen and mistakes happen. Thank you for this poem. It is reflective and gave me chance to write my thoughts.

You are most certainly welcome! When I take things seriously that aren't meant to be, I do self loath, but I don't consider it self loathing if the thing made you very upset. I believe that when that happens, whatever it is has gone too far. Thank you for taking time out of your day to read this!
