Turned Away

Turned Away

A Poem by Ace Jaxon

Turned the other way long ago

Always trying to hold my breath

Never bothering to look at you

You’re not the one that needs to count

It’s all for show, not held back

Wind floating me home

Broken wings letting go

Drifting slowly, a feather in the wind

Goodbye at last
