Thumbs Down

Thumbs Down

A Poem by Ace Jaxon

And to think you were nice

A word twister

For your own delight

Honestly you are a jester

A big joke lying around

Ha, ha, ha

I give a thumbs down

Tell your friends it was nice to meet them

Confused are you?

Allow me to elaborate on this little game

You said some words

And I said some back, making myself clear

You got upset

Oh, my how quick you were to pout

And put your words in my mouth

Jester’s play

How funny?

And to think he believes you

But unlucky for you I know the truth

Thumbs down, thumbs down

A frown for you, maybe a glare or two

Ha, ha, ha

Who’s laughing now?

Watch me feed you to the hounds!

Ha, ha, ha

Thumbs Down'.....very impressive poem. I can see your irritation to someone or something very clear here. Thanks for sharing Ne.
