Back Against The Wall.

Back Against The Wall.

A Poem by A Risen Heroine.
"

Inspired By A Song.

"

Back against the wall

Watching black shadows across my body

Eyes wide open

Red eyes; watching me in joy

"What's going on?!"
I scream

"Nobody knows, You're all alone now!"

A silent whisper in my ear

A heavy breath on my bare neck

Cold strong hands around my arms

Tightens the grip

Ripping off my limbs.

This is not poetry, it's inspired by BFMV's song "Watching Us Die Tonight"

The visuals jump in a nice leap from victim to villain.

Hmm... interesting write. :)
I've never heard the song before, I'll have to go look it up.
Thanks for sharing!

Ths is a great expression of horror. One minor typo - the last line should have 'limbs' instead of 'limps'. Otherwise very expressive.

Thrilling and enjoyable. :)
The despair of no one coming to help as the evil tears you to shred is pleasing to read. How dark and profound it is. Love it.

Feel like a scary movie. Where you think you are safe. Monster is standing next to you. A very good ending to a excellent poem.
