The Beautiful Vase

The Beautiful Vase

A Poem by A Little Mess

One person found a beautiful new vase and dropped it when they were bored with it.
The next found a few cracks and proceeded to neglect it.
Another found the vase, covered in dust and cracks, and shattered it, stepping on the parts.
You found it in a million pieces and began to glue the parts back together.
The person you love is the vase.
I am, you are, they are.
We all beg for someone to glue us back together, but sometimes we must be shattered first.
It is nearly impossible to breathe and feel while you are shattered.
But someone will come along and fix you.
