The Howlers Drip - A Poem

The Howlers Drip - A Poem

Not long one soothes

A rather dithering task at foot

A moaning of concentration...

Beyond the tense jaw and squeezed cheeks.

Seeing... A bellows of hightened kelvin

Flickers of a mad mimic... shorn upon shores sundered

Real... real... no fish upon squeak and squeel

Bending once in knee... the eyes finaly feel.

Deep in dew... merriment aplenty and nix

Gravely chuckled... a shallowness consumes

Reaching ever so near....

That fear... a strange bedfellow of a tear.

Flat now... head low, resting cold and weary

Air... a quickening pulse... like a shallow wave

Vex me non inner that simple row...

A mane of gold is doomed to show.

Vastly was a valley in the ear of chastisement

A creeper down slope of wind left for one

Never... never... the Sun is not greater?

Nor a moonbeam blessing a crock of addled crows.

Seem it now, that stitch having given revolt

A rambling return spun in the loom of lost petals?

Not so much of how I once assumed

Upon that medely of a master.

this is spectacular...utterly surreal...and gorgeous imagery
not sure what I see...all I know is that this took me away on celestial
journey then land in a place of days of old. love the mystical,
poignancy your pen captured in this...this is an ink I just have to keep
're visiting again & again. Thank you for the flight! (:
